Yesterday members of our Youth Board visited Bruce McLaren Retirement Village. The Youth Board members had chosen the visit as one of their events for the year, they planned and organised the activities they would do during the visit.

One activity was button art. We were lucky that members of our community donated containers of buttons, huge thanks to Selina, Louisa from Cascades Kindergarten and one of our trustees Ngaire for all the buttons.

The young people organised the activity and helped the seniors

This visit was a huge success with everyone enjoying each other's company. Thank you so much to Bruce McLaren staff and residents for making us feel so welcome.
