It has been a while since our last blog- sorry about that!! We have been preparing for a busy term- we will be visiting 6 schools which is amazing.When not working or preparing resources I have been very busy with a new member of our family... So what else have we all been doing.... Youth Board- these amazing young people meet once a month for 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon. Last week really had a little bit of everything, it was a busy week for us. Monday- We had the pleasure of meeting with Bo Burns who is Councillor for Howick Ward. We asked if she would be willing to be our Ambassador for 2026- and she said yes! We felt Bo was the perfect choice, being a local person who does so much for the community and sees the importance of giving young people a voice. We are looking forward to working with Bo this year. Tuesday- was all about networking.

It may seem like we have been a bit quiet so far this year but there has been plenty going on behind the scenes. We have been busy looking for new volunteers to support all areas of our work. After putting an advert out we were so surprised by how many wonderful people are out there wanting to get involved. We have really enjoyed meeting some truly lovely people and have found two fantastic new volunteers to join our team. We look forward to introducing them to you soon. Netw

What a year it has been, it is just our second year and we have been blown away with the support from everyone. Term 4 was our busiest term yet, working with four Primary Schools- Anchorage Park- whole school Elm Park- Years 1 and 3 Bucklands Beach Primary School-whole school Cockle Bay - whole school- this was our biggest school so far, working with six classes a day for a week, busy but so much fun. This year we visited 9 Primary Schools, working with nearly 4000 students!!
