Today has been so lovely, I have been out and about with all the lovely gifts students have made.

First I went to the SPCA charity shop in Howick to give the volunteers the beautiful flower bouquets and kindness cards made by students from Mellons Bay School. The volunteers really appreciated the kindness from the students and were thrilled with the messages in the cards.

We would like to thank the Howick Club for helping to fund this activity.

My next stop was Farm Cove Kindergarten, where all the children were in pink for Pink Shirt Day- to stand up against bullying, a perfect day to spread a little kindness.

I gave the staff the wonderful jigsaw puzzles made by students from Wakaaranga School. These will be given to every child who attends Farm Cove Kindergarten.
