Sunnyhills Year 2 students

Today we spent the day at Sunnyhills School with the Year 2 students. They decorated little pillow boxes and placed a pocket hug inside, these will be delivered to neighbours of the school to hopefully brighten their day.

Working with these students was just delightful, before putting the pocket hug in the box they would fill it with hugs by hugging the little wooden disc. One little boy even gave it a little kiss so that the person would get hugs and kisses- just makes your heart melt!

The students took their time to produce their best work, which isn't always easy to give away for them, but they all wanted to make someone else happy- true kindness
