Last week we visited Anchorage Park School everyday for an hour. The staff and students were so friendly, we hope they enjoyed our visits as much we enjoyed being there. Each class took part in our free Kindness in the Community Activities.

Our first two classes decorated pillow boxes and put a pocket hug inside- after filling the pocket hugs with their hugs.

These beautiful boxes were delivered to houses around the school.

With the next two classes (who were slightly older) we made jigsaw puzzles, each student was given a blank puzzle to design and draw on- they did an amazing job of making them look incredible.

We delivered these to Anchorage Park Kindergarten. The children at the kindergarten were so happy with their new puzzles. The teachers sat the young children in a circle and we explained who had made the puzzles for them, each child then picked a puzzle to take home. It was amazing to see the smiles on the faces of the young children. The school students should feel very proud of how they made a difference to the young children.

It is lovely that both the school and the community are benefiting from our work- we love getting feedback!

Our final day at the school was with the oldest students, they worked in pairs to make a flower bouquet and a kindness card. The students could choose to give these to local seniors or volunteers.

We are looking forward to giving these out this week!

Thank you to everyone at Anchorage Park School- we had a fantastic week!
