What an awesome Term 2

We are so thankful to all the schools we have worked with this term, it is has been our busiest term yet!

We have worked with over 1500 Primary School students over 8 weeks . The students have taken part in our Kindness in the Community Activities which are completely free for local Primary Schools.

This means that over 1500 students have learnt more about kindness, how to be kind, the values needed, how it makes others feel when you are kind to them and how it makes you feel when you are kind.

They have then completed an activity about kindness which is shared in the community. We talk about how kindness is contagious and how one small act of kindness can make a big difference. This has been proven by the reactions of the community when receiving the gifts. We have delivered over 1000 gifts to various members of the community- kindergartens and day care centres, volunteers, seniors, Bellyful East Auckland and residents who live near the schools- we hope you all liked your gifts and they brightened your day.

We also discuss that kindness doesn't have to cost you anything, a simple smile, or giving up your time to make a gift, or even picking up litter to help your community.

We really hope the students learnt from our sessions and will continue being kind, we also hope they had fun making the gifts and knowing that they have made a difference to someones day!

Huge thanks to Howick Primary School, Sunnyhills School, Wakaaranga School and Mellons Bay School for letting us visit your classes this term.

We would also like to thank our sponsors for the term, Dalton Electrical and the Howick Club.
